Mother's day eve.

Today our family went Causeway to have lunch at Dian Xiao Er for a simple Mother's Day celebration since nobody is free tomorrow. Here's what we ordered:




Ten Wonder Duck-Tastes nowhere near wonderful. Meat is rather unchewable. But the herb sauce is rather tasty though.



Hk steam fish-My favourite meat is fish meat so I may be a too harsh a critic but this fish is so bland! It totally lack the natural sweetness that makes me drool. It disappoints me.



Xiao Er B'curd-The beancurd tastes more like fishcakes rather than anything near a beancurd.



Claypot Veggie-It obviously is 焖不够 because all the veggies are not 入味 at all. Tastes so bland.



Half eaten-'Dong Po' Pork-The meat is tender and smooth and has a natural sweetness in it. The sauce is sweet and sticky just to my liking. Finally, a dish worthy of praise.

Next we went shopping and these are for 收获 for the day and the best part is-they are paid not through my pocket.



I am so into pinky stuff recently...lol...can't help it:) The Nike sport shoes shall be my motivation to lose the scary 4 kg gained during the exams.

Yes, so there's the question of what have I done or given my mother right? Nope, nothing for the moment because we are still in the process of bonding which pathetically start only recently and is still not going too well. This may be a scar in my life but I'm still learning forgiveness at the moment...
