This books tells you all about the different diets that you had ever heard of. From GI,
GL, Atkins to calorie counting, detox, high-fibre diet, low-fat diets to Mediterranean diet. It also includes exercises to boost your weight loss and how to go further and keep the weight off permanently.
This book briefly explains into the science of the different diets and about
losing weight generally. Like I never knew that
crash diets actually only produce a water loss and you will gain back all the weight once you eat back normal!
Read this book before you start any diets which you know nuts off but just wanna try it cos some people says it works. After reading this book, I realise that information is really the key to be more optimistic and clear about what's really happening and what other people are actually doing out there. For example, do you know that there are millions of people in America suffering from Binge Eating Disorder? It is a emotional eating problem that lead to yo-yo weight! Know this before it happens or even as it happens really enables one to look at the problem positively instead of emotional. Being emotional never solves a problem:)
